The 2021 Saldo Chenin Blanc is a wine made from Chenin Blanc grapes, known for its bright acidity, minerality and a wide range of aromas and flavors, such as green apple, lemon, honey and mineral notes.
This is a blend of 90% Chenin Blanc, 7% Muscat and 3% Verdelho. The pale yellow wine has a delicate and soft mouthfeel but has enough acidity to refresh the palate. It has aromas of pineapple, white peach and brown spice and tastes of pineapple and honey-crisp apple.
Wilfred Wong of wine.com awarded this wine 91 points and said, “The 2021 Prisoner Wine Company Saldo Chenin Blanc is an excellent example of this grape variety’s dry, New World version.”
